My new gizmo, NutriBullet!
Last week, I overheard the parents of my students talking about their healthy juice diet, and it reminded me of the NutriBullet I got as a Christmas present (and the promise I made to the people around me).
When I was in my 20s, I kept saying "I'm going to start to eat healthier when I'm 30!" and here I am (turned 30 last month) still ordering LARGE french fries.
I went home from the studio, opened the brand new Nutribullet box, read the recipe book and searched about it on the Internet.
It seemed easy enough for me to start using it, so I did 5 days ago!
The guide book had a very strict 6 week cleanse program but I didn't want to go too crazy.
What I'm trying to do for now is eat fresh juice of vegetables and fruits in the morning, lots of vegetables and a small portion of carbs for lunch, and vegetable soup and protein for supper.
Sometimes sweets and coffee.
So far, I seem to have more energy; although it's been only 5 days so I can't really tell if it's because of the diet.
BUT! It's much better than doing nothing or eating badly! I put many ingredients into one juice so even just that makes my diet healthier.
I hope this healthy eating habit gives me a longer ballet teacher career!!
